The partnership between THE Jitu and Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (DeKUT) focuses on developing talent to compete in the global market by providing technology training and human resource development to serve the whole family. We are committed to finding and nurturing some of Kenya’s best young talent in software development. At THE Jitu, we implement innovative approaches to guide students such as mentoring, peer learning, and project-based group learning. We also aim to solve problems with a solution that ensures students can become effective members of international software development teams despite obstacles. This challenging approach to talent development would not have been possible or successful without the support and guidance of the management and facilities of Dedan Kimathi University of Technology. DeKUT has a successful history of building partnerships and collaborations that have resulted in programs serving as a catalyst for innovation and growth with their students and the local community. Working as true partners, the university leadership and THE Jitu management have developed a selection process and training program to identify top talent and train them to the highest standards.
